By leveraging intelligent algorithms, users can easily explore and discover relevant content, improving their overall experience and engagement within the chat platform.

2. Powerful Search Functionality: I have led the design efforts to create a powerful search functionality within the chat interface. This feature allows users to quickly find messages, files, and relevant information, increasing productivity and efficiency in their daily communication.

3. Manual and Auto Archive Functionalities: I have contributed to the development of manual and auto archive functionalities, enabling users to efficiently manage and organize their chat history. This feature enhances user control and provides a streamlined experience for accessing past conversations.

4. Upload and Edit Custom Emojis: By designing the capability to upload and edit custom emojis, I have enriched the chat experience, allowing users to personalize their conversations and express themselves more creatively.

5. Chat/Channel Experience: I have been actively involved in optimizing the overall chat and channel experience, ensuring intuitive navigation, clear visual hierarchy, and seamless interactions. These improvements contribute to a user-friendly interface that fosters effective communication and collaboration.

6. Granular Admin Controls: I have played a significant role in designing granular admin controls, empowering administrators to manage user permissions, channel settings, and other administrative tasks with ease. This feature provides enhanced security and control within the chat platform.

7. Working closely with the R&D team to develop the next generation of chat: I have taken on the responsibility of independently developing novel interactions and functions for the next generation of chat. Collaborating closely with development teams fosters a deeper understanding of technical constraints, possibilities, and implications. Building strong relationships with developers facilitates the translation of design concepts into functional and seamless experiences. These innovative contributions have garnered appreciation from the CPO and are currently in the process of applying for a patent.

My Overall Experience

My overall experience at the Zoom chat team has been incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. As a Product Designer, I have had the privilege of contributing to the development and improvement of a leading communication and collaboration platform.
